1. What PsychHeal is
PsychHeal is a psychoeducation and self-help platform built by a psychology graduate with lived experience of anxiety, depression, cancer, bullying, and suicidal thoughts. It offers reflective tools (thought records, mood maps, sleep wind-downs), an AI companion grounded in evidence-based approaches (CBT, ACT, motivational interviewing), and a library of research-based content.
2. What PsychHeal is NOT
PsychHeal is not psychotherapy, not medical advice, not a diagnostic tool, and not a substitute for emergency services. The AI companion is not a therapist and does not retain a clinical record. If you are in crisis, call your local emergency number or visit /get-help.
3. Who can use it
You must be at least 16 years old. People under 16 may use PsychHeal with a parent or guardian's involvement. If you are in active suicidal crisis, please call a helpline first.
4. Your account
You're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials safe. We won't ask for your password. Don't share your account.
5. Your content
Anything you write — journal entries, thought records, Echoes — stays yours. We don't claim ownership. We don't sell it. We use minimum-necessary access to make the product work and to keep you safe (e.g. moderating Echoes posts that violate the safety policy).
6. Acceptable use
Don't use PsychHeal to harass others, post threats, share content that glorifies self-harm in unsafe ways, or scrape the platform. We reserve the right to remove content or accounts that endanger users.
7. Payments, sessions & refunds
Payments are processed by Stripe in EUR. The €60 one-to-one session is reflective coaching & psychoeducation — not psychotherapy. Donations are not refundable unless required by law. For full cancellation, reschedule, and refund rules, see /refunds. You confirm the scope of practice at /about#scope before each booking.
7a. EU/UK right of withdrawal
Under EU Directive 2011/83/EU and equivalent UK law, you have 14 days from booking to withdraw — unless the session has already taken place with your explicit consent. By ticking the booking acknowledgement, you expressly request the service to begin before the 14-day period ends and waive automatic withdrawal once the session is delivered. The cancellation schedule in /refunds still applies.
8. AI disclosures
Conversations with the AI companion are processed by vetted model providers under data-processing agreements. Inputs may be temporarily processed to generate a response. We don't use your conversations to train third-party models.
9. Liability
PsychHeal is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Data protection (GDPR)
PsychHeal is GDPR-compliant. Most self-help tools (thought records, weather journal, body map) save only to your device — never to our servers. Account data, session bookings, and consent logs are stored encrypted in EU-hosted infrastructure. You can request export or deletion of your data at any time at hello@psychheal.app. Full detail at /gdpr and /privacy.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Greece, where the operator is based. EU consumers retain mandatory rights under their country of residence (consumer protection, data protection, right of withdrawal). Disputes can be raised via the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here and update the date above. Material changes will be announced in-product.
